This years Yellowstone Dig It Days @ MontanaFair will be the best yet. We will have opportunities for everyone to earn some money! even the adults Friday & Saturday August 16 & 17 from noon – 6pm.
Free tickets into MontanaFair & Dig It Days 2024 (Friday 12-2pm) can be picked up from sponsors of Dig It Days or contact Jonathan McNiven at the Yellowstone County News or call 406-348-2650. These free vouchers or tickets get entry into MontanaFair for Friday only. Those with free vouchers into Dig It Days also get free entry into the fair grounds and other activities at MontanaFair.
There will be many opportunities for attendees to earn cash while having fun at Dig It Days 2024!
- There will be a $200 cash prize each day for best picture from Dig It Days posted on Facebook with hashtag #digitdays.
- There will be a $200 cash prize each day for teenagers and young adults (ages 14-22) who operate heavy equipment or use the simulators. They will get a ticket to enter into a drawing each day.

Dig It Days 2024 t-shirt will be green color. We’ll have a digging contest with experienced heavy equipment operators moving multiple eggs from one location to another. Fastest operator to move the eggs without breaking them will win a $400 cash prize.
- We’ll have 1,500 free t-shirts to give away until gone.
- Free toys, gifts and items from all the sponsors.
- Everything in Dig It Days 2024 is free to do and experience so bring the family and come play in the dirt.
- We will have a site map with sponsors on it so kids and adults can get stamps and then turn in the map for a drawing to win $200 for school each day.
- New simulators, educational demonstrations and prizes will be given out each day.
- The Yellowstone County Air One Helicopter will land each day from about 2-3pm for kids to watch and visit with the County Sheriff.
